Ireland-born Oseni, 22, made his debut for Waterford, before moving over to England to join Derby County's Academy. While there, he had loan spells with Nuneaton Borough and Rushall Olympic, before moving to Gateshead in the summer of 2024. Oseni scored freely in the National League, bagging 13 goals in 24 games, before a move to St Mirren in January. He found minutes hard to come by north of the border, but finished the season still in the top 20 goalscorers in the National League, having only played half of the campaign. Argyle Head Coach Tom Cleverley said: "It's great to have Owen with us. His form with Gateshead shows that he is a player who knows where the goal is. He scored a variety of goals for them and is still at an age where he has a lot of potential for improvement. We think being with us at Argyle gives us a great opportunity to develop him as a player." Head of Football Operations David Fox added: "It is important we put together a portfolio of forwards with a range of attributes. Our data shows that Owen offers an exceptional physical output he is strong, quick and powerful. "We will always look to add people who we feel will suit our style of play, and Owen will do that. We are also bringing him in with an eye to how we can improve the qualities he already has. I look forward to watching him grow in a green shirt."
After starting her career in the Welsh Adran Premiership, Phoebe was given the chance to represent Wales at youth and senior level, having received a national team development camp call-up following experience with the Under-19s. She scored a staggering 37 goals in 45 appearances for the Bluebirds, before making the switch to the FAWNL with Cheltenham Town. After one season in Gloucestershire, the move to Oxford followed, and she made it count with a season that saw her win the club's Golden Boot, Players' Player of the Year and Supporters' Player of the Year. Argyle Head Coach Marie Hourihan said: "Phoebie is a fantastic addition to the squad. She's got bags of potential and has already shown she can score goals in this league. We are really happy to have her on board for what should be a very exciting season." 26th

The 24-year-old left-back joined Argyle last summer, and made 20 appearances, nine as a substitute. He scored one goal--a dramatic late equaliser in a 2-2 draw at Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in January. As revealed in the fixture release list, Argyle will meet former Pilgrim Conor Hourihane's Barnsley in the opening game of the 2025/26 season. However, Ogbeta will not be eligible to play in the fixtures between the sides. 25th
The Sierra Leone forward joined Argyle on Deadline Day in the summer of 2023. He played 70 times, and scored 14 goals for the Pilgrims, including perhaps his most memorable strike, the winner against Leicester City in April 2024, which went a long way to securing Argyle's safety that season.
The 20-year-old midfielder is moving from fellow FAWNL Southern Premier Division side Lewes FC, where she was a key player for the East Sussex team, featuring 23 times. Born in England, but growing up in Australia, Layla went to Germany, aged just 16, after being scouted by SV Elversberg. She then joined the Manchester United Academy in 2020, playing through the age groups, before agreeing a dual-signee move with Huddersfield Town before going on to Lewes. Head Coach Marie Hourihan said: "Layla's a fantastic talent and someone we've been monitoring for a while. She's got a great attitude, on and off the pitch, and we're confident she'll play a key role for us this season."
The new group will be made up of supporter representatives from across the fanbase, allowing fans' voices to be heard and providing them with the chance to regularly meet with club management to provide feedback, ask questions and present new ideas, with the ultimate aim of improving fan engagement and the match-day experience across the club. The Fan Experience Assembly will have 16 seats, each representing a specific area or segment of the fanbase: four seats will be held by groups already officially affiliated to the club, while the remaining 12 will be elected from the fanbase. These will offer supporters from each stand in the ground the opportunity to get involved, along with young people, seniors, families, Evergreen members, those who travel to away games and fans based across the UK and abroad. Expressions of interest are invited and interested supporters can find details as to how to apply on the official website. The closing date for applications is 9am on Wednesday, 9 July.

Dickson, who enters her fourth season in green, has featured heavily in her previous three years at Argyle. The former Northern Ireland youth international has scored four times in her 79 appearances and could, next season, join Imy Crawford and Giota Papaioannou in featuring 100 times for the Pilgrims. Stephens signed her deal on her recent 18th birthday. Last season was her debut with Argyle, after her move from Torquay United. Ella's versatility and skill made her a strong utility player all over the pitch which ended with her being voted the Young Player of the Season. 20th
The midfielder, known affectionately to fans as the Plymstock Pirlo, made 173 appearances for his boyhood club. As an apprentice, Randell defied his, at the time, diminutive size to display maturity beyond his years and earn a professional contract, spending much of his first year as a pro in Argyle's reserve team, in the Peninsula League. His debut came in the EFL Trophy against Newport County in November 2018 and, in the following season, he made a handful of appearances in that competition, the EFL Cup and the league. During the 2020-21 season, Randell went on loan to National League side, Torquay United. He started as a fringe player, occasionally playing wide on the right, and he finished it as an integral part of a squad that very nearly regained league status. Adam was named as the Gulls' Young Player of the Year. Returning to Home Park for 2021-22, he steadily increased his game time, scored his first goal for the Greens - a superb free-kick away at Sheffield Wednesday - and became more and more important to the squad. By the following season, he was a regular starter, and played 33 times, (starting 29 of them), as Argyle won promotion from Sky Bet League One. He scored four goals all away from home and none more iconic than the first of Argyle's three as the Pilgrims clinched the title with a 3-1 win at Port Vale on the final day of the season. He missed just one game in Argyle's return season in the Championship. Again, he scored four times, including his one and only goal at Home Park, a dramatic late winner against Stoke City. In a turbulent 2024-25, Randell was a standout performer in Argyle's midfield, showing the reliability, tenacity and passion that has been his staple throughout his tenure.

The 24-year-old winger has signed a three-year deal and will wear the no. 10 shirt. Born in England, Amaechi came through the youth set-up at Premier League side Arsenal; represented England at every youth level up to Under-20s, and was one of the most highly sought-after young prospects in the country before joining Hamburger SV in Germany. He spent three years at the German side, which included loan spells with Karlsruher SC and Bolton Wanderers, before joining 2 Bundesliga side, 1. FC Magdeburg in 2023. He went on to make 41 appearances for the club, scoring six goals in the process. Tom Cleverley remarked: "Xavier is a quick and exciting winger who will add further competition to our forward options. "He has good European experience having played in Germany, and returns to England a more rounded player, but he is still young and has so much room for growth and development. "He showed a real desire to be a part of Argyle and I am delighted to welcome him to the club." Head of Football Operations, David Fox, added: "Xavier was someone that had several different options, but we are pleased he saw his future here at Argyle. "He fits the profile of player we are looking to bring to the club. He is dynamic and attackminded, has good quality, and comes with a big desire to improve under our new Head Coach. "It's good to get another player in the building for the start of pre-season so we can give Tom as much time as possible to get his principles and ideas across ahead of the season." Xavier will be sponsored by the Senior Greens.

"I'm very honoured and really proud [to be here]," he said. "As soon as I connected with people at the club, I knew this was a great move for me in my career. I feel like we're both craving real longevity and stability, and that's something that Argyle brings me. I can't wait to get started. "I've had two experiences of being inside Home Park and the atmosphere, once as a player and once as a coach. It was a little bit of a different experience as the head coach as I was suspended that game, so I was really in and amongst it. "I understand how important the atmosphere can be and how good it is here, how passionate people are and ultimately how much the football club behind us really galvanises this community and that's important to me. "I can't wait [to be back]. I'll have to be honest, as a player, I didn't always look forward to seeing the grass again after six weeks off. As a coach, I miss it after three days. This is why you do the long hours. This is why you don't retire as a player and play golf because of the smell of the grass, the sound of the studs clattering, and walking up to the training ground. "This is football. This is why I love it. I can't wait to meet the players and supporters and get to work on the grass. "I love how well-balanced and stable the club feels. That was both from looking at it from the outside, but when you meet Simon [Hallett], David [Fox] and Andrew [Parkinson], I felt well aligned. We're in a results industry, we're in a short-term results industry, but there has to be a long-term vision, a real process to bring you long-term success and stability and to make sure that your performances are sustainable. I think Simon's someone who really understands that part of it. "I think what I can guarantee the football club and its supporters is there'll be an incredible amount of hard work for me and my staff to make sure that this is a success. Not a short success, not a medium success, but a long-term success. We're a loyal group. We're very hardworking and in my opinion, we're a technically and tactically very good group, but that's for us to prove. "No one loves winning football games as much as me and we'll prepare to win absolutely every single game, but we will also prepare something that I feel will give us real long-term stability, success and an exciting journey. "I don't think there's a right or wrong way. I think there's a way that you believe in and there's a way to be authentic and my way is I'm more on the adaptable side of coaching and the rigid, 'okay, if it's not working, let's do it better,' way. "I think there are some things that you have to be really consistent with, and that helps the players, especially out of possession. One thing I learned is that certain things are helpful to players in terms of consistency and repetition, but there are also things on and off the field that you have to adapt to as a coach. An important part for me is being able to listen and to let others have input. "If something's not working, we don't rip the whole script up, but we can adjust it. We don't all of a sudden become a counter-attacking team, but that has to be an adaptation to make sure we're getting the best out of what we've got. "As for us now, we have to work hard. We have to prepare well and thoroughly and there has to be a strong environment. I've been part of successful teams and part of failing teams and, yes, there is a difference in quality. There's a difference in budget, but the overriding thing is there's a difference in the environment and the culture, and how resilient the group is. Everything we do has to come from a foundation of that, be a good teammate, be a good person and then after that we can talk about technically and tactically. "The players must feel a freedom to express themselves and from there will be mistakes. There will be and we'll have to deal with failures and that comes back to the strong culture, but there will be a framework and clarity that the players have, but within that, they have to feel that they have the right to take risks to really express themselves. From there, hopefully we provide our supporters with an exciting football team to watch." 17th
Damon Lathrope joins as Assistant Head Coach, Matt Bevans as first-team coach, and Chris Douglas as first-team performance analyst. All three worked with Cleverley at Watford, and will work alongside first-team coach Kevin Nancekivell and goalkeeping coach Darryl Flahavan in the 35-year-old's backroom team. Cleverley is delighted to bring all three to Argyle and said: "Damon, Matt and Chris are three people I know well and are all top class in their respective areas. "They know the way I work, I know the way they work, and I am thrilled they have decided to join the exciting project we have here at Argyle. "All three have bought into our plans, and the plans of the club, and are really excited to be here in the South West. "I am pleased to bring them with me so quickly and have them in place ahead of pre-season starting on Friday. The hard work starts now, and we are all looking forward to getting going."

Ryan Hardie has signed for Wrexham for an undisclosed fee, thought to be reduced because of a relegation release clause He joins another former Pilgrim, Dan Scarr, at the Racecourse Ground. The 28-year-old Scotsman departs Home Park following a very distinguished five-and-a-half years as a Pilgrim. He first joined, on loan from Blackpool, in January 2020, and scored in his first three games, all as a substitute. By the end of his stint, he had started five times and came off the bench on eight occasions, scoring seven goals, as Argyle were promoted from Sky Bet League Two. The following season, he returned, initially on loan, then signed a permanent deal. He managed just six goals in 2020-21, but truly found his feet in the following campaign, scoring 19. He then bagged 17 as the Greens completed another promotion. In the last two seasons, with Argyle in the Championship, Hardie fired in 13 and 12 goals respectively, winning the 2024-25 Player of the Year award in the process. His 248 appearances have him joint 46th in Argyle's all-time appearances list, and his 74 goals put him equal 12th on the goalscorers' chart, level with Jack Cock and Mike Bickle. Goals such as his late winner at Salford City, a hat-trick at Crewe Alexandra, a double against Exeter City and a winning penalty against Liverpool will live long in the memory for all Argyle fans. Hardie has been a likeable, reliable presence for the whole of Argyle's recent era, and rightfully became a big fans' favourite. We wish him all the best.

Cleverley was most recently Head Coach of Sky Bet Championship side Watford, whom he led to a 14th-place finish in his first full season in charge, before he left the club in May. Highly rated throughout the game as both a coach and a player, the 35-year-old joins Argyle ahead of the upcoming League One season, and will begin work immediately before the players return for pre-season at the end of next week. Chairman Simon Hallett is delighted to secure Tom's services: "Ever since Miron's departure, and knowing Tom was available, we identified him straight away as the perfect person to be our next Head Coach and targeted him immediately. "When we spoke to him he was completely aligned with the vision and ambitions of the club and it was clear throughout that Tom was the right fit for us. "He is fully invested in our long-term plans and will play a key role in helping us achieve them. "He is young, passionate and did a great job at Watford. We are thrilled to bring him to Argyle and look forward to seeing the impact he has on the talented squad at his disposal." Chief Executive Andrew Parkinson added: "We were inundated with interest from prospective candidates, which shows how exciting this project is. But, throughout the process, it was clear that Tom was the perfect person to take the club forward. "He's been highly sought after, so we are really pleased we have been able to bring him to Argyle and look forward to seeing him build a squad and style of play that will see us challenging at the top end of League One this season." 12th

This is one of 17 projects funded by a 25,000 grant, which aims to build stronger connections between players, communities and football clubs by putting players at the heart of local projects that help tackle inequalities, raise aspirations, develop thriving communities, and inspire positive change. The Trust will work closely with Joe Edwards and Julio Pleguezuelo to deliver Argyle 4 Autism (A4A), a new football project co-designed by the players and created for children with autism, or for those who are currently awaiting an official diagnosis. Joe commented: "Football is a great way for people, whatever their background or situation, to come together and have fun, with something we all love in common. "We've done our best to create a programme which is educational, challenging, accessible and, most importantly, fun. Hopefully plenty of people will come along and enjoy." Premier League Director of Community, Nick Perchard, said: "The Players' Project Pilot is a powerful initiative that places players at the heart of community work, allowing them to use their influence to make a real difference. "By combining players' passions with the proven delivery of professional football club charities, this funding will respond to local need and create meaningful impact that extends far beyond the pitch." 8th

Salford-born Dan started his career with Manchester City, moving to Blackpool in 2021. After playing 49 times for the Seasiders, Argyle brought him in just after the start of last season, following Michael Cooper's departure to Sheffield United. Grimshaw played 22 games, but lost his place to Conor Hazard midway through last season.
The 29-year-old was offered a deal to remain at Home Park, but has opted to pursue another challenge. It was later reported that he had signed for fellow-League One side, Stevenage. Jordan made 184 appearances for Argyle, over two spells. In 2016, he spent two months on loan with the Greens, from his first professional club, Chelsea, and played ten times for Derek Adams' League Two play-off chasing Pilgrims. After stints with Doncaster Rovers and Milton Keynes Dons, Houghton returned to Argyle, this time under Ryan Lowe in Sky Bet League One. He was a mainstay in the midfield as Argyle won promotion in 2022-23, and continued that form well into our stint in the Championship. We salute a leader, a consistently calm presence in the squad, and a model professional.

Defender Matthews had his first season as a professional last season, spending time on loan at Tavistock United and Taunton Town, while Hatch had a sensational scoring run for the Under-18s, before injury curtailed his season. He has been rewarded, though, at the end of his apprenticeship, with his first pro deal. "It's definitely a massive achievement for me and my family," said Joe. "People who have put a lot of dedication into me, people who have believed in me all the time – now I can pay it back to them. "I want to play in front of the Argyle fans here at Home Park. Making a debut in front of the Green Army would be good. "I feel like my job now is to take on board what [Academy coaches] have given me and just put it into practice. They have had a lot of faith in me, so I have to return that and give them the best I can do." Matthews added: "When I found out I got a new deal, it was and even better feeling than last year, to get rewarded again for hard work. I want to say thank you to everyone that's been part of my journey so far. Hopefully I can keep it going."
Hourihan makes the move to the South West following two years with FAWNL Northern Premier Division side Stoke City. In 2024/25, the 36-year-old took the Potters to a third-place finish in the league and the final of the FAWNL Cup, losing 3-1 to the Northern league champions Nottingham Forest. Before Stoke, Marie spent a year in charge of London Bees, guiding them to a ninth-place finish in Tier Three, ahead of Argyle in 10th. Marie had an extensive, successful playing career with both Chelsea and Manchester City, as well as being called up for the Republic of Ireland national team. Marie said: " I'm absolutely delighted [to be here]. I'm really looking forward to getting going now, immersing myself in Plymouth and at Argyle, and embracing this new challenge. "In terms of the process of bringing players in and meeting everybody here at the club, it's starting to become real now, and getting exciting. I'm looking forward to getting to work with the players and getting back on the pitch." Christian Kent, Executive Lead for Women's Football at Argyle, said: "We're delighted to welcome Marie to Argyle Women, after an extensive process, following the conclusion of last season. "Marie demonstrated throughout the interview process her thirst for success, drive to develop young players through our pathway, and experience within the game so far, as ways of developing the team, in line with our strategy. "She also joins Argyle after an outstanding season with Stoke City, which saw her be amongst the nominees for the division's Manager of the Year."
The Carlsberg Britvic brand becomes the front-of-shirt sponsor for the Greens for the foreseeable future after a multi-year strategic partnership was agreed, which will also include match-day activations at Home Park fixtures. Brand Director for Adult Socialising Soft Drinks, Carly Sims, said: "The J2O Brand Team are extremely passionate about Women's football and therefore very excited about our new partnership with Argyle Women. The powerful 20-year-old joins from Hertha Berlin for an undisclosed fee, and has agreed a four-year deal. Having spent some time with Queens Park Rangers at a very young age, Bradley was with the Arsenal Academy, where he captained the Gunners' Under-18s team to an FA Youth Cup final. In February 2024, Bradley moved to German outfit Hertha Berlin, and played for their development side. Last season, he joined League One side, Crawley Town, on loan for the season, playing regularly in the heart of their midfield. He also scored Crawley's goal of the season, a spectacular long-range effort that won the EFL goal of the month for February. "I am very pleased that Bradley has agreed to join us," said Argyle Head of Football Operations David Fox. "He is someone we identified during last season with the profile of being strong, powerful, a good tackler, and at an age where he is improving rapidly. "I know from my own experience that going to play abroad, to experience living in another culture, helps you as a player and as a person. Bradley is a mature young man and will complement us perfectly. "For us to only be in the first few days of June, and to already have our fourth signing agreed, is very positive for us."

"Running out at Home Park was some of the greatest times of my career and I am absolutely buzzing to wear the green of Argyle again this summer. "I have heard great things about TST and really like the look of the squad being built by David and Jamie, so can't wait to get out to America and get started.
