Born in Macclesfield in 2004, Ibrahim spent his early football career at Queens Park Rangers' academy before moving to Arsenal in 2017. The combative midfielder also played twice for the under-21 side in the Football League Trophy with his debut coming in September 2022 at Ipswich Town. Two appearances for the England under-18 team also followed for the youngster.
In February 2024, he joined Hertha Berlin on a permanent deal, featuring in their under-23 side in the German fourth division. Eighteen months or so later, he signed for Crawley Town on a season-long loan where he made 42 appearances, the first of which came in a 1-1 draw against Stockport County. He scored twice during his spell with the Red Devils, his first goal for the club a stunning, long-range effort against Wrexham at Broadfield Stadium which won the EFL Goal of the Month for February 2025.
At the end of the 2024-25 season, Ibrahim returned to his parent club before putting pen to paper on a four-year deal for Argyle just a few weeks later, becoming the fourth signing for the Pilgrims during a busy start to the summer break.
