Greens on Screen started its life in 1999 before many of the football sites that we are familiar with today, including Plymouth Argyle's own official site. Greens on Screen is dedicated to the sights, sounds and history of Plymouth Argyle Football club. It is owned and run by the Plymouth Argyle Heritage Archive, a charity dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and display of the heritage of our great football club.

The site owes its existence to Steve Dean.Without Steve's dedication and commitment for over 25 years, GoS would not exist and be the valued and loved resource for all football fans that it is today. The site is truly the envy of many clubs, and we owe a huge debt to Steve for his tireless work, and continued support behind the scenes.

Greens on Screen's first page was published in January 1999. Its early purpose was to bring Plymouth Argyle a little closer to those unable to see their team, and whilst it has changed a great deal over the years, its core themes - sights and sounds for Westcountry exiles - still stand. The site was very lucky to take on the content of Trevor Scallan's Semper Viridis in the summer of 2007, and in 2009 launched GoS-DB, a wealth of facts and figures from PAFC's history. A year later, we embarked on a complete history of Argyle, with much-valued contributions from chapter authors. Greens on Screen was taken over by its new custodians, The Argyle Archive, in 2024.

Greens on Screen is an amateur website and proud of it. It is run by a team of volunteers from the Plymouth Argyle Heritage Archive (Argyle Archive). Without the hard work and much-valued contributions of these volunteers, running the site would not be possible. Greens on Screen is self-taught and as a result, a little bit quirky.

Greens on Screen remains advertisement free, which means we are grateful for the generous support of our donors and the work of our volunteers to help keep it free of promotions. TYMOTEUSZ PUCHACZ

Born in Sulechów in 1999, Polish defender, Puchacz, began his footballing career with Lech Poznań, his debut coming in a 3-0 defeat at Nieciecza near the end of the 2016-17 season. Shortly after making his bow, a loan move to Zagłębie Sosnowiec materialised, where he made 17 appearances in all competitions. A second loan, this time to GKS Katowice followed in August 2018, where he turned in a number of impressive performances over 25 matches, while also scoring four goals during his time at the Stadion Miejski.

Puchacz returned to Poznań and over the course of the next two seasons, he cemented his place in the Railwaymen's defence, making 62 appearances and scoring four times. In May 2021, he moved to Union Berlin for a fee of around €3.5 million and made his international debut just a month later, in a 1-1 draw with Russia in Warsaw. In In June 2021, he made appearances in all of Poland's fixtures at UEFA Euro 2020, as they finished last in their group and were knocked out at the group stage.

Seven months after joining Union Berlin, he then went out on loan to Turkish side, Trabzonspor, in January 2022, where he made nine appearances as his new side claimed the Super Lig title. The following season, he made another loan move following a solitary appearance for Union Berlin, this time switching to Greek outfit, Panathinaikos, where he played 13 times as the Shamrocks finished runners up in Super League 1.

A third successive loan move saw him sign for FC Kaiserslautern, where he enjoyed a more prolonged run in the team, scoring once in 31 appearances, while continuing to feature for the national team. He was also an unused member of the Polish squad during their Euro 2024 campaign.

After returning to Germany, he signed a permanent deal with Holstein Kiel in August 2024, making his debut in a 3-2 win at Alemannia Aachen. In January 2025, after a total of 10 appearances in the Bundesliga, he joined Argyle on loan until the end of the season with the Pilgrims offered an option to buy upon the expiration of the deal.
