HARRY KIRK
Full Name: Henry Kirk (also known as Jazzo)
Born: 22 April 1899
Came from: Bristol City Went to: Exeter City
First game: 03 September 1921 Last game: 03 September 1921
Appearances: 1 (1/0) Goals: 0
Harrow-born Kirk arrived at Argyle from Bristol City, having previously played in non-league football with Sherwood Rovers and Worksop Town. He made just a single appearance, at inside-right, in September 1921 before moving on to Exeter City, where he made 14 appearances and scored 9 times later in 1921. Records suggest he then returned to Home Park in 1922 without adding to his solitary appearance – a possible early incarnation of what would now be a loan move. A second permanent three-season spell then followed at St James Park, where he played over a hundred games with an impressive one in three scoring record. After leaving Exeter he then played for Charlton Athletic, Bath City, New Brighton and South Shields before winding down his career with a second spell with Bath City.
