ALBERT HALL

A Welsh schoolboy international, Hall joined Tottenham Hotspur at just 14 and spent almost 15 years with the club, although the interruption of World War II meant that he only made 40 appearances for Spurs before being signed by Argyle manager Jack Tresadern, his former boss at White Hart Lane. During the war he had guested for several clubs, including Port Vale, Short Brothers (Northern Ireland), Norwich City, Luton Town, Charlton Athletic, Chelsea, Reading and Millwall. His form for Argyle was disappointing and he left the club after just one season, ending his career with Chelmsford City.
