Came from: Trainee Went to:
First game: 31 August 2021 Last game: 02 November 2021

Born in Plymouth, Garside joined the Pilgrims at the age of nine, having impressed at the Centre of Excellence. An Ivybridge Community College student, he played for Plymouth schoolboys at under-11, under-14 and under-15s, and for Argyle's academy in the Super Cup in Northern Ireland in 2018 and 2019.
In July 2020 Garside's progress was rewarded with a two-year apprenticeship at the club. On August 31st, 2021 he made his senior debut in an EFL Trophy match at Newport County, and was selected again against Arsenal U21 in the same competition a few months later. However, in May 2022, at the end of his apprenticeship, the bad news came that he would not be offered a new contract.
Later that summer he lined up against his former teammates for Plymouth Parkway in a pre-season friendly, and after a short spell at Bolitho Park, moved to Bath, where he played in the Southern League for Larkhall Athletic and also for Bath University.
He left at the end of his apprenticeship to play for Truro City and Plymouth Parkway.
Following his spell with Plymouth Parkway, he then played for Saltash United (two spells) and Tiverton Town (two spells). After a spell with Willand Rovers, he returned, in August 2024 to Plymouth Parkway for his second spell with the club.
Footnote: Carlo Garside's older brother, Rio, was also on Argyle's books, but he did not make the first-team.
