Torquay-born Jenkins Davies, an attacking midfielder, joined Argyle's academy at under-9 level and progressed at the club whilst a pupil at Torquay Boys Grammar School, also playing for Torbay Schools in the under-14 and 15 age groups.
International recognition came in October 2019 when he played for Wales under-16s in the Victory Shield tournament, in which he scored on his first appearance. Further call-ups to Wales under-17 training camps came in October 2020 and March 2021, and he earned a place in the Dragons' under-18 squad in September 2022.
Jenkins Davies signed his first professional contract at Home Park on his 17th birthday in October 2021, having made his first-team debut as a 63rd-minute substitute in an EFL Trophy match at Newport County two months before. By then a regular in the Pilgrims' under-18 team, he was rewarded with his first taste of senior league action as an 89th-minute substitute at Accrington Stanley in November 2021.
Jenkins Davies then spent two seasons on loan at Torquay United in the National League South, latterly under the tutelage of Paul Wotton as they narrowly missed out an a return to the National League as Truro City pipped them to the title and their first-ever elevation to Step 1 for any Cornish side. Having completed his second season at Plainmoor, he had made a total of 75 appearances and scored an impressive 14 goals for his hometown club.
He was released by Argyle when his contract expired, following the club's relegation from the Championship at the end of the 2024-25 season. His last appearance was earlier that season in the League Cup defeat away at Watford in August, in front of future Argyle manager Tom Cleverly in the host's dugout. However, rather than a return to Plainmoor, he moved to fellow National League South side Bath City for the 2025-26 season, signing a three-year deal and reuniting with Plymouth-born, former Argyle umder-18s coach, Darren Way who was in charge at Twerton Park.
