Born in Cameroon in 1984, Madjo began his career in his hometown with PMUC Douala before moving to England to play for non-league Petersfield Town. Twelve goals in just eleven games brought him to the attention of League clubs and in August 2005 he joined Bristol City, but made only five appearances before moving to Forest Green Rovers on loan later that year. This move was made permanent when the transfer window opened in January 2006 but he was released at the end of the campaign. A strong and determined striker, Madjo spent the 2006-07 season with Stafford Rangers, scoring twelve times in forty-six games. The following campaign saw him join Crawley Town and after finding the net eleven times in his first eighteen games, he moved to Cheltenham Town on loan in November 2007. Two months later, with Cheltenham not taking up their option to sign him, he was sold to Shrewsbury Town for £20,000.
After twelve months at the New Meadow, with only limited first team opportunities, Madjo left on a free transfer in January 2009, joining Chinese side Guangdong Sunray Cave. The following season he played for KS Bylis Ballsh in Albania before returning to England, signing with Stevenage in June 2011. After just a single appearance for the Boro he moved on loan to Port Vale and scored four goals in his six games for the club. With Vale unable to extend the loan deal for financial reasons, he returned to Stevenage before being sold to Aldershot Town in January 2012, who no doubt remembered the hat-trick Madjo scored against them in a match at Port Vale the month before. A former youth and under-23 international for Cameroon, he scored eight goals in twenty games for the Shots over the second half of the 2011-12 campaign.
Unable to secure a first team place at the beginning of the following season, Madjo left the Recreation Ground to sign a four-week loan deal with Argyle in September 2012, just three weeks after sitting on the bench at Home Park for Aldershot. He scored his opening goal in October, an equalising goal in a 1-1 draw at Wycombe Wanderers, and his loan spell was extended for two further months. In December he returned to a struggling Aldershot but left the club in January 2013 to train with Bristol Rovers, although no move materialised. He then signed for Conference Premier side Macclesfield Town, playing eight matches and scoring twice, before moving to Hong Kong to join First Division club Tuen Mun SA for the 2013-14 season. However Madjo only stayed two months, scoring twice in five games before moving to play for Looktabfah in the Thai Regional League Central & Western Division.
In November 2014, he returned to the UK to join relegation-threatened Tranmere Rovers on a two-month contract, reuniting with Micky Adams, his former manager at Port Vale. However, he left Prenton Park just six weeks later, having made only three substitute appearances. His games for Rovers were his last recorded games of his career, though there are reports of him playing for teams in Gabon in 2015.
In January 2016, Madjo was put on trial in his absence for sexual assault after an incident in his Hampshire home in August 2014. He was found guilty and sentenced to three and a half years, though he was believed to still be somewhere in West Africa and unwilling to return to the UK.
