Born in Plymouth, Rendle joined the Argyle Academy at the under-9 age group and came with family pedigree, his grandfather being Chris Harrison.
When selected for his first-team debut as a 17-year-old starter in a Football League Trophy match against Crystal Palace's under-21s in September 2026, under Tom Cleverley, he was the longest-serving first-year scholar at Home Park.
He studied at Looe Community Academy and made several appearances for Argyle's under-18s in the 2024-25 season, and had also been part of the club's young squad that reached the semi-final of the SuperCupNI in 2023.
Originally an attacking forward, he played at left-back in pre-season games at the start of the 2025-26 season and was selected in that position when he made his debut. Playing the full 90 minutes, he received the Man of the Match award and also finished the match with an assist, setting up Caleb Watts for his second goal in a routine 5-1 win for the club.
