Javary joined Argyle on a short-term contract, as an extended trial period, but was not offered a longer contract after failing to impress Paul Sturrock. Having started his career with Montpellier he moved to Spain with Espanyol, soon returning to France on loan with Valence, where he played alongside Romain Larrieu. After his release he moved to Raith Rovers in January 2000 and six months later was sold to Brentford. He came to Home Park later that season, having had his contract cancelled, but after failing to win an extended deal, returned to Scotland. He spent a week with Partick Thistle before re-joining Raith Rovers. Signing for Sheffield United later that season on a non-contract basis, he was then handed a two-year contract by Neil Warnock. Just months later he was released, following a loan spell with Walsall, and moved to SS Excelsior in the Reunion Islands. He again returned to Scotland, playing for Hamilton Academicals for a few months, before returning to Excelsior and then moving on to Avirons.
