Zebroski began his career with Swindon Town but was released after failing to win a professional contract. He was spotted by Argyle playing for Cirencester College Football Academy and signed on a scholarship deal. After just a handful of substitute appearances his contract was terminated by Argyle following an incident on the 2006 pre-season tour to Austria, when he was found guilty of gross misconduct after an encounter with Paul Wotton. He signed for Millwall shortly after, and played fairly regularly before joining Oxford United on loan.
Zebroski spent the following season on loan at Torquay United and had an impressive goalscoring record there, which led to Millwall selling him to Wycombe Wanderers. After 18 months with Wycombe, and despite being an important member of the first team squad, he re-joined Torquay United on loan, a move made permanent when the transfer window re-opened in January 2010. A handy fourth tier player, Zebrowski later went on to play for Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham and Conference South side Eastleigh before signing for newly-promoted Newport County in the summer of 2013.
Newport finished the 2013–14 season in a creditable 14th position on their return to the Football League and Zebroski was their top scorer with 13 goals. As the following season neared its end, he had made 77 appearances and scored 20 goals for the Welsh side. However, in April 2015 Zebroski was jailed for four years and four months and his contract was immediately terminated by Newport. He had admitted charges of robbery and assault, having also confessed to being an alcoholic.
After his release from prison he was given a second chance in football when, in July 2017, he signed a one-year deal to return to National League side Eastleigh, with mandatory community work part of the terms of his release.
