WINSTON FOSTER
Born: 01 November 1941
Came from: Birmingham City Went to: Chelmsford
First game: 13 August 1969 Last game: 21 November 1970

Foster began his career in his home town with Birmingham City and spent eight years with the club, making over 150 appearances, mostly at centre-half but also as a full-back. After falling out of favour he had a loan spell with Crewe Alexandra before joining Argyle on a free transfer. He played regularly in his first season at Home Park, but this was mainly due to an injury to Fred Molyneux. Finding himself out of the team when Molyneux returned, Foster moved into non-league football with Chelmsford City, and later played for Bromsgrove Rovers.
